Ammonia gas leak at dairy unit in Andhra Pradesh’s Chittoor

As soon as the incident was reported, District collector Narayan Bharath Guptha and Superintendent of Police Sendhil Kumar immediately reached the location to monitor the condition.

In a terrible episode, about 20 people were affected after an ammonia gas leaked in Hatson dairy unit at M.Bandapalli town close Puthalapattu at Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh on Thursday night. Apparently, all the laborers affected in the incident are females.

Those harmed were hurried to Chittoor government medical clinic. When the occurrence was accounted for, District authority Narayan Bharath Guptha and Superintendent of Police Sendhil Kumar quickly arrived at the area to monitor the situation.

Addressing media, Narayan Bharath Guptha stated, ”Its too early to talk about the reason for leakage, this gas leakage happened while wielding of the pipe which carries ammonia gas. the gas leak has affected several workers

He included that a group of officials are designated to give a point by point report of the occurrence and requested individuals remaining close by to stay away from any sort of frenzy circumstance.
