China Refuses to step back from Finger 4 area in Ladakh

The pressures among India and China along the Line of Actual Control in Ladakh could increment in the coming days as China has apparently would not ease off from Finger 4 territory in Pangong Tso. Indian Army is on high Alert and has increased the sending of tanks along East Ladakh border to avert any danger from the China’s People’s Liberation Army

The procedure of complete withdrawal of troops in eastern Ladakh is “multifaceted” and requires consistent confirmation, the Indian Army said on Thursday after the fourth round of marathon military talks among India and China.

The military said senior commanders of the Indian and Chinese military evaluated the progress on implementation of the 1st phase of fallback and discussed further steps to guarantee the total withdrawal of troops in the region.The commanders held 15-hour-long arrangements in Chushul on the Indian side of the Line of Actual Control(LAC) from 11 am on Tuesday to 2 am on Wednesday during which modalities for the complex separation process were broadly discussed.
